Our All-Inclusive Tuition is based on a 10-month season (September through June) and is split into 10 easy to manage monthly payments. Tuition is not influenced by the number of classes per month but rather the total number of learning sessions in the 10-month season. All Groovers are enrolled in our automatic payment processing.
Our inclusive tuition includes the following: learning sessions, dance concert costumes, participation in our annual dance concert, video of your Groover’s performance, Grooves t-shirt, welcome gift at the first week of classes, crafts for Creation Weeks, and other fun events throughout the year like our Hip-Hop Cyphers, Tap Jams, Holiday Party, our all NEW "Back-to-Dance" Glow Party and other fun surprises!
No refunds will be given on the last month's deposit or any tuition payments. Refer to MISSED CLASSES and DROPS/WITHDRAWALS below.
You must leave a valid credit card on file which will be charged on the 5th of every month for all payments that are due at that time. If you choose to pay by cash/check, those payments must be made at the studio by no later than the 4th of the month to insure that the card on file will not be charged. Any payments made after the 10th are subject to a $15 late fee. There is a $25 fee for all returned checks. All account balances must be paid in full for Groovers to participate in the Concert. Groovers whose accounts are 30 or more days past due will not be permitted to take class.
New Groover Happiness Guarantee

Should your Groover not attend all classes within that 30 day period, you will be not be eligible for a refund. Registration Fees are non-refundable. Annual Dance Concert
It is understood that Grooves Unlimited runs on a 10-month season and all Groovers will work towards a culminating concert performance. The costume fee is included with monthly tuition for all Groovers. Should there be a conflict with the concert date and a Groover is unable to participate in the show, they may fully participate in classes up to the point of the concert and may pick up their costume at Grooves Unlimited following the concert date.
Annual Dance Concert tickets will go on sale in Early Spring. Everyone who wishes to attend the concert will be required to purchase a ticket. All information pertaining to the concert will be provided in early Spring.
Parents and siblings must respect the studio while class is in session. Climbing on or moving studio furniture is not permitted and the studio door is to remain closed for the duration of class. Groovers should wait for their teacher to invite them into the studio for classes and should not interrupt any class while it is in session.
Groovers must abide by the dress code. If Groovers are not prepared, they will be asked to sit and observe class. Hair should be pulled back and away from the face. Street shoes must be removed in the waiting area before entering the studio. We love our dance floor! Please don’t damage it by wearing your street shoes. Please have your Groover(s) designate a pair of “Dance Sneakers” for their Hip-Hop/Street Jazz classes.
Food and drink are not allowed in the studios at any time. Groovers are encouraged to bring water bottles that can be kept in the cubby area. If you choose to bring snacks into the waiting area, please kindly clean up after yourself, your Groover, and their siblings.
No cell phones will be permitted inside the dance studios. All phones need to be turned to silent and left in the dressing room or with a parent.
Please do not leave your Groover unattended before or after class as our Team will not be able to monitor your Groover when she/he is not in the class. In the event that you are delayed, your Groover must wait in the waiting room to be picked up. Grooves Unlimited is not responsible for children who leave the premises. Siblings must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Code of Conduct
At all times the Grooves Unlimited staff will treat you with professionalism, courtesy and respect. We expect you to respond in a similar manner. All Groovers and Dance Family members are responsible for their own actions and their actions towards others. All Groovers and Dance Family members should strive to support each other in a positive manner. There will be zero tolerance of bullying or “studio drama”. Any instance of disrespect, gossip or bullying towards or about another Groover, another Dance Family Member or a Team Grooves member calls for immediate dismissal from Grooves Unlimited.
Our classes start on time. To be early is to be on time and to be on time is to be late. Groovers should use the bathroom before or after class. Class time is valuable and 100% of class time should be spent in the studio. Groovers should push themselves to their fullest potential and pull everything out of their teacher to fuel their passion for dance. Groovers should support their fellow Groovers and give their individual best in every class and performance. The directors reserve the right to change a Groover’s level to better match his/her capability.
In the event that a Groover will be absent, or must leave class early, please notify Grooves Unlimited in advance via email. If a Groover misses a class due to illness/injury/school event/etc, they are invited to make up the class in a level equal to or below theirs. Groovers have 30 days from their missed class to do a make-up class. Each Groover may only makeup 2 classes per class they are registered for per month. Because our Groovers will be eagerly working towards their annual Dance Concert performance, no make-up classes will be scheduled for any absences in April, May, or June.
If a Groover is unable to attend class for a significant period of time during the year, we cannot hold their class spot unless tuition is paid for the missed period. In the event that a Groover misses three consecutive classes, their participation in the class and/or upcoming shows will be reassessed. There will be no refunds or pro-rating for missed classes due to sickness, absences, holidays or snow days. In the event of cancellation, due to weather or other circumstances, Groovers will be notified via email.
If you decide to withdraw from dance classes at Grooves Unlimited, you must notify us 30 days in advance via email and you must receive a written confirmation in a return email from our office before you are considered withdrawn. You MUST write “Groover Withdrawal” in the subject line of the email. Should you not give us 30 days notice, you will be responsible for the tuition for the following month of classes. It is understood that all portions of the tuition payment are non-refundable and can only be transferred to a future program which must be agreed upon by email before the Groover’s final class. Any Groover that drops a class after February 1st, may pick up their costume at the studio following the concert date. Any Groover that drops a class prior to February 1st, is not eligible to receive a costume.
Grooves Unlimited reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not comply with the above code of conduct.
